| Introduction:
We are excited about the interest and growth experienced this year in our infant/babies swim classes. We are brimming over with new surprises for our babes. Your first private lesson is an exploration for the parents to locate their own comfort level, as we find most babes ready and usually willing to have a go at the water.
The pool water is maintained at 90-92°f and chemically balanced for the safety of all of our swimmers and staff.
Our classes consist of a maximum of 4 babes accompanied by their adult/parent. Minimum age in a class is 6 months, but we will assist others with younger babes in private lessons.
We require each child to wear a re-usable swim diaper either as their suit or underneath their suit. In the event of a stool accident or vomit, we react with the guidelines recommended by the CDC. Therefore we recommend you not feed your child milk, oranges or apples prior to class as they sometimes like to recyle these products.
Options:
-A Private lesson: with one instructor and various activites.
-A Semi-Private lesson: share a lesson with a friend.
-Class environment: opportunity to make friends, share experiences and learn from each other.
Type Of Classes:
--A Playgroup class: Introduction to Swimming through Swim songs, group activites and play.
--Station Exploration class: Opportunity to explore activities of balance, independence and confidence through a variety of swimming experiences.
Description:
Stations:
-The Red Flying Carpet: This allows the child to be in the water but on a solid surface.
-The Blue Jelly float; Offering a soft flexible surface, that introduces the need for learning balance in aquatic movement.
-The Greenpod: Simulates a womb-like security for the child.
-The Blue Island: On which they can walk around independently.
-The Yellow Wall: A location to learn water entry.
-The Green Bridge: A plank like surface to assist with balance and offer freedom of movement.
-The Red Table: A raised platform the babe can climb or sit upon.
Activities:
DUCKS: We have a flock of fun prepared.
SONGS: We have several swim related songs to generate interest and involvement.
GAMES: Challenges to have fun with.
Our toy box is full of suprises.
Pricing:
-A Private lesson: $55/hour
-A Semi-Private lesson: $45/hour plus +$10/additional child
-Class environment: $115 for 4 x one hour classes (Mon-Thurs)
