Though teaching swimming since the 70's, Ms. Melina finds it rewarding to see the building of a permanent home for our swim school. Life in the military gave her the opportunity to teach in several countries and many states, thus providing wonderful teaching experiences. Offering a place for kids, adults and special needs swimmers to learn to swim as well as a place for others to train to teach what they love, is our dream. The U.S. Army brought us to Georgia and Swimming will keep us here.

In the summer of 2000, Swimmerman welcomed the first swimmers to the program here in Georgia. However the Swimmerman Concept was born back in Texas, at Ft. Bliss many years ago.
