What a wonderful teacher I HAD last night. I never thought I could feel so free and relaxed in the water. I would not be on this journey if it were not for you. I feel like that little girl is starting to spread her wings and is getting ready to fly (and she knows she can fly), thanks to you. You are so amazing. I am eagerly looking forward to my next lesson. I could not help laughing and telling all of my colleagues about your classes and the medal I received. I even sent my friend Salli and e-mail this morning telling her about it. She has known me for a long long time and knew of my water phobias. She grew up on the California coast and she was always trying help me work through my fears. She is so proud and happy that I took this step. She told me to thank you from her. That token meant more to me than you can imagine. I immediately hung it on a candle holder atop my bedroom television so that I could look at it hanging there. You are an my angel and a wondrous Blessing. God has given you such an amazing gift. Like I said last night, I have been wanting to do this for many, many years but never felt comfortable. Now not only do I feel comfortable, I feel like in the end I will be able to swim every day without fear and that is such a huge accomplishment for me. I will actually be able to go to Florida and go swimming with my son and my nieces and not have to spend the rest of my life sitting on the side and praying that nothing happens because I would not be able to help. This will be the first summer of my 38 years on this wondrous earth that I will be able to spend the summer "Swimming" and not avoiding the pools and pool parties. My fiancé has a beautiful pool that I spent last summer looking at while "reading my books." Now I will be able to swim with him and our dog. You are such a Blessing. Such a wonderful Blessing.
