About the Program: |
We require all new swimmers begin with a one on one individual lesson. This learning experience helps us access and better acquaint our student or parent of with our methods and techniques. Small children are sometimes overwhelmed by separation anxiety and can express their nervousness or insecurity vocally. We refer to this as the "Swimmer's Symphony" With careful understanding from an instructor this insecure behavior will be minimized or eliminated very quickly.
Method of Instruction:
We introduce our techniques right away. The energy an individual brings to the pool from the beginning is highly charged and full of desire to have fun and learn. We take advantage of that energy by encouraging techniques through the use of props, toys and creative playful methods. Even with our adult learners, we find they are missing an aquatic childhood and enjoy the opportunity to learn through the use of props and toys as well.
Making the Choice:
-Individual: Offers flexibility of scheduling, individual instructional attention & a faster learning pace.
-Semi Individual: (Same as above) Must be matched with a student of similar level. Provides a minimum level of competiton. Good value.
-Class: Availability dependent on demand, instruction based for participants levels, teaching is highly motivated and group paced. Provides a competitive atmosphere and allows for more playful group dynamics. More economical, Ratio 6 to 1.
-Private: Offering you guaranteed privacy. You secure the entire facility for your own individual lesson with the instructor of your choice. These lessons are limited to first come first serve.
