“My 9yrs old non-verbal son with autism has loved the water for years but simply could not focus to learn to swim. In his FIRST lesson, within 20 minutes of being in the water with (his instructor), my son put his face in the water and blew bubbles! I was floored! By the end of the lesson, he had goggles on and kept them on!! I was absolutely amazed! Now he refers to his upcoming lesson throughout the week and puts his own goggles on before he gets in the pool. Anyone who has or knows someone who has a special needs child understands how major and gratifying something like this is. I don’t know  what they do to connect with the kids, but they are truly blessed with a gift. I would urge anyone wanting swimming lessons to go to Swimmerman- you’ll be happy you did!”
